'm a huge Atelier LaDurance fan. I bought my first Frontier pants early 2005 followed by the Royal Pants later that year. My favourite pair are the Royal pants, I own three of them because I like their authentic vintage appearance.
Usually I wear the shit out of them before washing them in the washing machine. Using only a few drops of shampoo instead of coldwater laundry detergent. I never put more than four pairs of jeans in at once, because the heavy weight of the denim will constrict the movement of the wash cycle. This can end up that the jeans got wrinkled. The older jeans that have started to fade usually absorb the dye that is lost by the newer ones. I use always the quick wash program as it seems that 95 percent of dirt comes out in the first two minutes of a washing-machine cycle. |
